Schnecken, Erdbeeren und ein neues Auto - Snails, Strawberries and a new car

I have a garden and it is time to talk about snails. They enjoy my garden, they definetely do, you know the ones that don't have a home on their back (don't know the english word) to be honest they do not just enjoy my garden, I think we are the ones who breed them, that they can go and find other gardens to destroy. We have so many, it seems that we are the source to all of them.....I do everythings within the means of" amnesty international" to get rid of them...without much effort.

Nonetheless, I won't win the war, but I won a battle against them. Just have a look at the strawberries that we managed to get out of our garden before the snails laid hand on them. We are very proud!

Well the girls think differently about snails, especially the ones with a home on their back ( don't know how they are called in english either...) . They just love them, because of this, my blogname is about this love. "Schnecken" is the german word for snails and "nasen" is the german word for "noses". :-))) Both of them love to collect them an bring them inside, which honestly I do not love so much. So we build a save home for the snails, where they were able to spend the night. Have look. (of cours then the snails are inside)

And the absolutley sensational news for today is:

MUM GETS A NEW CAR!!!

Ralph is going to get it on friday and I will make pictures and show you. I'm soooo excited.

  1. Eww, not a big fan of snails here either :) I think all kids like snails though, for some reason. Your strawberries from your garden look delicious! I LOVE strawberries~they're my most favorite fruit! I have always liked them but when I was pregnant w/Justin, I craved them ALL the time! He's got a strawberry colored looking birthmark at the bottom of his hairline around his neck :) That's SO exciting that you're getting a new car~I CAN'T wait to see the pictures of it :) When I go back to work, that's the 1st item on my wish list~I've had the car I drive now for 7 years!! That's a long life for a car, ha ha! Anyway, VERY excited for you that you're getting a new car & can't wait to see it :) Sorry this comment turned into a book~ha ha!!!!

  3. Hi,

Have you tried salt to get rid of them. Salt does wonders to get rid of snails.

I don't mind if you put my name on your blogroll.

P.S. Your strawberries look so good. Congrats on the new car

  5. Love the post and the pictures. I don't mind snails but I am sure if there were a lot of them all through the garden I would think differently lol. Especially if they are ruining the fruit. That is soo cute that your girls have a few living in a jar. I loved doing that when I was young.

Congrats on the new car! That is really awesome and good for all of you.

Glad things are going well :)
